The iPhone 15 brought USB-C and the Dynamic Island to the whole lineup, and the 15 Pro introduced a titanium frame. Apple removed the last iPhone 15 models from its Italian store in September 2025, when the iPhone 17 arrived. Here is what the iPhone 15 cost in Italy, how to buy one now, and how it compares with the current lineup.

- iPhone 15 Plus: €1,129
- iPhone 15 Pro: €1,239

iPhone 15 vs iPhone 15 Pro: which to buy refurbished?
If you plan to use Apple Intelligence, choose the iPhone 15 Pro or 15 Pro Max: they are the only iPhone 15 models with the A17 Pro chip and 8GB of memory that Apple Intelligence requires. The standard iPhone 15 is still a solid phone with a 48MP main camera and USB-C, and refurbished units are usually much cheaper.
Where to buy a refurbished iPhone 15 in Italy
Since Apple no longer sells the iPhone 15 new, refurbished (ricondizionato) is the safest way to get one. The main options in Italy are:
- Swappie, which specialises in refurbished iPhones and tests them in its own facilities.
- Back Market, a marketplace of professional refurbishers with several cosmetic grades.
- Amazon Rigenerati, Amazon's renewed programme with its own return policy.
- Mobile operators and electronics chains, which sometimes clear remaining new stock at a discount.
Before you pay, check:
- Battery health: look for 85% or more, or a replaced battery.
- Warranty: professional sellers in the EU must provide at least a 12-month legal guarantee on used goods.
- Network lock and iCloud: the phone must be unlocked and signed out of the previous owner's Apple Account.
Compare refurbished prices with the cheapest new iPhone: the iPhone 17e currently costs €879 at Apple Italy, new and covered by the two-year EU legal guarantee. A refurbished older model is only a good deal if it costs clearly less.
