iPhone 13 Price in Italy: Launch Price & Refurbished Deals
The iPhone 13 launched at €939 in Italy and is now discontinued. Where to buy it refurbished and new alternatives from €879.
The iPhone 13 was one of Apple's best-selling phones in Italy, and it is still a popular second-hand buy. But Apple stopped selling it in September 2024, so you will no longer find it at the Apple Store. This guide explains what the iPhone 13, 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max originally cost in Italy, where to buy one today, and which new iPhones cost about the same.
iPhone 13 launch prices in Italy
When Apple launched the range in September 2021, these were the official Italian prices (128GB, VAT included):
- iPhone 13 mini: €839
- iPhone 13: €939
- iPhone 13 Pro: €1,189
- iPhone 13 Pro Max: €1,289
The 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max were withdrawn in September 2022, and the iPhone 13 itself in September 2024 when the iPhone 16 arrived.
Is the iPhone 13 still worth buying in 2026?
Only at the right price. The A15 Bionic chip is still fast for everyday use and the dual camera is good in daylight, but the phone is five years old. Batteries in used units are often worn, and the 128GB base storage fills up quickly. It also has no Apple Intelligence support, which needs an iPhone 15 Pro or newer.
Where to buy a refurbished iPhone 13 in Italy
Since Apple no longer sells the iPhone 13 new, refurbished (ricondizionato) is the safest way to get one. The main options in Italy are:
- Swappie, which specialises in refurbished iPhones and tests them in its own facilities.
- Back Market, a marketplace of professional refurbishers with several cosmetic grades.
- Amazon Rigenerati, Amazon's renewed programme with its own return policy.
- Mobile operators and electronics chains, which sometimes clear remaining new stock at a discount.
Before you pay, check:
- Battery health: look for 85% or more, or a replaced battery.
- Warranty: professional sellers in the EU must provide at least a 12-month legal guarantee on used goods.
- Network lock and iCloud: the phone must be unlocked and signed out of the previous owner's Apple Account.
Compare refurbished prices with the cheapest new iPhone: the iPhone 17e currently costs €879 at Apple Italy, new and covered by the two-year EU legal guarantee. A refurbished older model is only a good deal if it costs clearly less.
